Python
Description
Python is a dynamic object-oriented programming language that can be used for many kinds of software development. Version 2.5.2 is currently installed.
Several related modules are also installed:
Matplotlib - version 0.91.2. This is a Python 2D plotting library.
NumPy - version 1.0.2. This adds a fast, multidimensional array facility to Python.
SciPy - version 0.6.0. This provides an open source library of scientific tools, which depends on NumPy.
tcl - version 8.5.1. Tcl (Tool Command Language) is a dynamic programming language, whcih can be used with Python.
tk - version 8.51. Tk is a graphical user interface toolkit which can be used with Tcl.

Using SciPy
Users who want to use scipy/numpy should execute the following command:
module add scipy
